Tucked away on Queenhill road (between the top of Farley Road and Upper Selsdon Road) you'll find the hidden gem that is Selsdon Tennis Club. A wonderful place to learn and play tennis and open to all standards and all ages.

Wimbledon 2019 and Opting-In
Look who Grace and Bianca bumped into at Wimbledon this year! Don't forget the more members of the club that Opt-In to the Wimbledon Ballot each year, the more pairs of tickets the club will be allocated. This gives all member who do Opt-In a much greater chance of securing tickets for the championship via the annual club draw. Congratulations to Christopher Cooper who won the 14U Surrey Trophy in an exiting final that took place at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton on Saturday 13th July 2019.

Quiz Night 2018
Thank you to all those that supported our Quiz Night this year– there were over 30 of us who made it a really nice evening. We managed to raise £190 for the club – well done everyone.
A BIG thank goes to Frances who did an excellent job with all the arrangements and managed to get hold of some great raffle prizes. Also to Lynda who did the scoring and Rosemary for ticketing the raffle. Those who helped set up the tables and then clear up at the end of the evening and sort all the rubbish.
Thanks to everyone who donated raffle prizes – the profit from ticket sales help make up the amount raised.

Summer Camp 2018
A big thankyou to everyone involved for making this years summer camp another roaring success. The group spent the week 23rd to 27th July honing their skills through a variety of fun tennis related activites, games and coaching with the week culminating as usual with the final day tournament. Congratulations to all who took part and we look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Team Tennis Season Begins for Under14's Boys Team
The Boys Under 14 Team travelled to Woking LTC on Sun 15th April for their first Team Tennis fixture of the season. Team Tennis is a team competion open to all LTA registered venues. It aims to provide players of all ages with regular league matches, against similar standard players in a competitive team environment.
Not only was it a great experience for boys to play against the team at Woking but they also played their matches on artificial clay. Thanks to George for taking the team there for what turned out to be a long day, but enjoyable day.

STC Quiz Night - Friday 10th November 2017 - 7pm
Don't forget that Fri Nov 10th at 7pm is the annual STC Quiz Night. Come along to show your support for the club and feel free to bring your family and friends.
£5pp entry fee (£9pp for the popular Fish and Chip/Chicken/Veggie option, please sign the form on the back of the club house door with your food order in advance of the evening). Please feel free to bring along your own liquid refreshment. As usual it should be a fun evening for all!

Club Open Day - Saturday 22nd July 2017 - 1pm-4:30pm
Come and join us for an afternoon of free tennis at the club. All equipment provided if required. Open to all standards and all ages.
Open Day Special Offer - Pick up a membership form on the day to receive 25% discount on any adult membership for the remainder of the 2017/2018 membership year, if you join before August 1st 2017.
This equates to £88 for a full adult membership, or £52.50 for a Beginner and Improver membership for the remaining 2017/2018 year ending March 31st 2018.
Grace Cooper wins Surrey Under 16's Winter Knockout Tournament
Huge congratulations to Grace Cooper! On Sunday 12 March 2017 she won the 16 and under Surrey League LTA knockout competition. Grace beat the No. 1 seed on the way to the final where she won 6-4, 7-5 in her first Surrey knock-out championship!
Grace is a regular attendee of the junior coaching programme which takes place at Selsdon tennis club each Saturday morning throughout the year.
